This group of words- put together just as they are- makes for one of the most powerful quotes I have ever read. I have this quote printed out and around my house.
If you think about it- we do "I am(s)" ALL DAY LONG, EVERYDAY!!!! It is exactly how we form who we are and how we view each day of our life.
I am tired, I am lazy, I am slow, I am not worthy, I am hot, I am late, I am poor, I am bad with money, I am not a cook, I am not good at math, I am never going to get the job, I am fat, I am ugly, I am not strong enough, I am not willing, I am not wanting......... and on, and on, and on , and on.
We fill our heads with more negative than positive thoughts, on most days.
I don't know why.
Does it come from childhood- parents, teachers, coaches??? It is, as if, we are corrected for the things that are not going right, in spite of the things that are going right.
